Jenny Packham Eden-Platinum Summer unclassified dresses

Hello newly-engaged! I am selling my beautiful Jenny Packham Eden dress in platinum. I can't express in words how incredibly gorgeous this dress is- it is unlike anything you will ever wear again and is truly a work of art! It was all the rage in 2012 in the UK and voted one of the most popular dresses of the year. This dress is in a size 12 (UK), which is equivalent to a size 8 (US). I did a ton of research on this dress prior to buying and was worried about buying online without trying on ahead of time, but this dress really does look amazing on a range of body types heights. You can see from pictures online that everyone looks great in this dress, it is really perfect for all body types. It is also a dress with a pretty consistent resale. I watched the ads for roughly 4 months before buying this dress to be certain that I could resell it. So, if you want to resell it again, you can! I'm 5’8.5” and I wore 3.25” heels. I tailored the dress so that the bottom layer dress (double layered silk) was about an 1.5” off the ground and the outer layer (beaded tulle layer) was .5” off the ground. I basically took an inch off. I also had cups sewn on to the silk layer (bottom layer). They are a size B and can remain or be removed. They were sewn in very loosely for easy removal. Since the wedding I’ve had the dress tailored again taking 2” off the outer layer to remove a couple small holes in the tulle. This is common with this dress and by no means reduces its quality- it just makes it more appropriate for someone who is 5’7” and below. Of course, it also depends on your shoe height. This is great dress for someone who wants to look unique on their wedding day, a Great Gatsby or vintage themed wedding, and anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship and detail. It clings to your body in the most beautiful way- it is incredibly lights and has great movement. I wore this dress for my ceremony and half of my reception. Around 4 hours.
