I bought my dress at the Dress Theory in San Diego, a gorgeous shop known for vintage inspired gorgeous dresses. It was perfect for our big day in September on the east coast because I adored the back detail and how effortless it felt on. Lightweight, dreamy, floaty, with incredible detail, it looks like it should be much heavier. I wound up going with two silk underlay slips to change up the look from ceremony to reception without having to take off my gorgeous dress. The white was beautiful for the ceremony and very classic while the nude showcases the beading on the overlay even more and provides a more unique look. Everyone loved the dress and remarked how effortless I looked in it which was wonderful, because we danced! Our wedding was outdoor and reception was inside a vintage stone barn dating back to the 1800's so needless to say, the nickname Secret Garden wedding really stuck. My photographer did an amazing job capturing the movement as you can see. I loved this dress and know you will too if comfort, detail, and timeless quality are your priorities in a gown. When I first tried it on, my first thought was that I felt it was very close to a Kate Moss wedding dress. :) Google her wedding, enchanted. The tulle overlay is white and includes two silk slips, one nude and one white.
