I purchased the black ribbon sash (shown in first photo) as well as an off-white ribbon in case I wanted a different look for the reception than the ceremony. I wound up wearing neither, and would be happy to throw those in as options (as well as the extra pieces of fabric that came with the dress for alterations).
I love, love, love this dress. It is light, delicate and incredibly intricate... Looks like a piece of art. I wore it in July and it fit with the natural outdoor setting, while the black sash adds a level of sophistication and beauty for a more formal affair. I couldn't have been happier with it.
